Callaway Pravets Open Amateur Championship:

  • Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Gross and Net competitions.

Callaway Trophy:

  • 18 hole stableford event.
  • Played off the yellow tees (Men) and red tees (Ladies).
  • Open to amateur golfers with EGA handicap between 14.5 and 24.
  • Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in stableford competition.

Overall Prize for Nearest the Pin 8th and Longest Drive on the 9th

Junior Division:

  • 18hole stableford event.
  • Played off the yellow tees (boys) and red tees (girls).
  • *Open to amateur golfers with EGA handicap between 14.5 and 36
  • Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in stableford competition.

*Junior golfers with hcps from 14.4 and under may play in the main competition

Rules

  1. The Callaway Championship and Trophy shall be played in accordance with the R&A Rules of Golf and Local Rules of PGC as on the back of the scorecard.
  2. Preferred lies are in play. Players may mark, lift, clean and place the ball one card-length on all fairways.
  3. For pace of play, play a provisional ball where necessary. Always state that you are playing a provisional ball.
  4. For disputes, Rule 3-3: play a second ball and the committee will make a decision after the game.
  5. All competitors must be of amateur status as defined by the R&A (Rule 1-3)
  6. The player must start at the time established by the committee. If a player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, the penalty for failure to start on time is a 2 stroke penalty. If not within five minutes the penalty is disqualification (Rule 6-3)
  7. Men in the Championship Division play from White markers and Ladies from Green Markers. Men in the Trophy Division play from yellow markers and ladies from red markers.
  8. Ties
    1. The Callaway Championship gross prize will be decided by a sudden death playoff, playing the 18th and 10th until a winner has been decided.
    2. The Callaway Championship and Trophy prizes will be decided on the last 18,9,6,3, or 1 holes in that order.
  9. Distance Measuring devices are permitted. A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
  10. All competitors are required to play with golf balls and clubs which are on the current R&A list of conforming equipment. The penalty for breach of this rule is disqualification.
  11. All disputes will be settled by the Championship Committee comprising A. Rogut.
